Antonio Paniagua Guzmán, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

Antonio Paniagua Guzmán is currently a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research focuses on the interrelationship between literature and society, with special emphasis on literary representations of cities and historical periods both in the United States and Latin American contexts. His previous research examines the role of printed media in the production, distribution, and consumption of literature during the 1960s and 1970s, as well as poetic representations post-industrial cities’ physical and institutional change.
